Signing books at Urban Think! Bookstore
My friend Kevin Meehan, colleague at UCF and specialist in Caribbean Literature, helped me record this video for students at the University of Maturin in Venezuela.
This second video was made, also with the generous assistance of Dr. Kevin Meehan, author of People Get Ready: African American and Caribbean Cultural Exchange, for Dr. Gail Okawa’s students at Youngstown State University in Ohio. She taught my book in two sections of Women Writers of Color and students sent forward questions that I happily answered and recorded this for them.

Oh my gosh! Is this going to come out audio since I spend too much of my time in a car?! Love the cover and look forward to the interior. It is ordered and a huge congratulations for the long journey.

Funny you should ask; we recorded last week and need to go back into the studio to do the edits, so yes, there will be a CD. Stay tuned!
